A sense of adventure if not progress
The day after the scope, and I am... maybe back to normal? I don't really feel like it in some ways, as the tummy is a bit rumbly (it can take two days, I read my docs). My appetite seems to be normal, and my usual sleeplessness and caffeine addiction is back, so maybe things are...ok? We will see tomorrow, and if/when I send the victory email to the MD, and asking them what we are to do next. Yes, I am fully aware that they will give me the "you needed it and now we can rule things out" line, which is true, but it is also a useful copout, so... I am simply underwhelmed, as I often am.
A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine suggested to me -- when I said I would be lost without J! for six weeks -- that I should return to watching films on the National Film Registry. Truth be told, it had slipped my mind, but he was 110% correct, so I binge-ordered a few from interlibrary loan (while I could) and I watched one today. "Ganja and Hess," which can be best described as "blaxploitation meets vampire" film. I was...underwhelmed. I realize I am not the target audience, and horror films are just meh to me, but... recalling that POTUS fired Carla Hayden, the last Librarian of Congress, for budget reasons...well, adding crappy films to the NFR is also a good reason! Anyways...846.
The Anti-Abundance Critique on Housing Is Dead Wrong
Interesting. I have to admit, watching libtards tear each other apart is infinitely more entertaining than watching the GOP do it, and it "accidentally" proves the GOP that said libtards are the cause of the problems we have... and thus cannot be trusted to solve them. I am fine with this, and if we need to get to the public hangings stage to solve it... well, I will help as best as I can.

Speaking of lists, I made one of the list of the 102 classic cocktails and am considering starting it (I suspect even I have had a few). I will note that I could make 102 trips to The Velvet Tango, pay $20 for each one (and $5 for a tip), and probably drink them all in two years, but in terms of economy, and my own sense of adventure, I would make them. Hell, I owe a friend a trip there for a cocktail, emphasis on a, as he could drink everyone under the table, no matter the cost, and...well, you know me.
