Lazy Sunday of a Sort...
No blogging during the weekend...tsktsk. Friday night I went to bed fairly early -- by 11 -- and got a full evening of sleep, which was heavenly. Last night IU realized that it was Daylight Savings Time and I hit the hay before posting to try and get 7 hours of sleep. Tonight...well, I should be in bed, but am not tired, for reasons. Alas.
Honestly, I didn't do that much this weekend -- mainly catching up on work, which is important, as it is mostly caught up. The trip to Vegas was a wonderful opportunity, but in terms of schedule, it was a bit inopportune. Alas. I should be able to get ahead/finish this week, which is... just in time. Rah.
It is Lent, and that means Friday Stations of the Cross...despite the fact that there were but 6 people at it Friday, it was... quite nice. I do hope there are a few more next time -- I realize Lent was late this year and it seemed people forgot about it, but. Anyways, we used the traditional books, and I think they do add something to Stations; old school prayers, properly reverent, that sort of thing. I realize this will surprise absolutely no one that I prefer the old school approach.
I couldn't help but notice that it was bright and sunny this morning, and of course the reason why is that -- yet again -- Duke beat UNC (in the DeanDome). Yes, my teams beats their rivals, Buckeye fans, ahem, and it was glorious. To be sure, there were a number of instances where I thought it was a lost cause, but... more seriously, is it me, or is Cooper Flagg...well, for all the talk of him being POTY, which I get... there were the TO issues in the losses, and then Saturday... getting those fouls and being potentially unavailable.... that is on him, and yes he is but 18, but... it needs to be part of the conversation. In the meantime, Duke is playing well, or well enough, but to me the whole ACC tournament is a trap game...
