I was a little surprised by this article, given the, um, tilt, of deadspin.  I think, though, the comments point out that 1) Unions can be awfully anti-worker, ha and 2) Being a MLB umpire and making the living he did...well, I think there is a difference between being in a union and being in a union representing any major sports league...
